Currently, I am still going to university, so I don't have money to blow. However, I did it anyway.
I went to Ten Ren Tea and bought two types of tea;
- King of Osmanthus Oolong
- Jin Xuan Oolong Tea
Jin Xuan Oolong Tea was an unusually tea. The seller told me it was water by milk. Yes, by milk. This was the first time I ever heard of a plant being watered by milk. My curiosity got the best of me. This tea as a hint of butter and a tiny tiny bit of mint. The mint just hit you in the end. And it taste like butter. I feel like sipping popcorn. This may sounds weird for a tea, and I thought it was weird. The first taste of this tea didn't really take me away to dream land. However, my throat, tongue, and lips seems to linger for it. As though the idea of butter, makes me feel this silky water wanting to be glisten on my lips. Needless to say, I must have that tea.
Now comes the price. It is $44 for 150g. I don't know what the tea expert says to that, but my student wallet is say, "That's a lot of money."
I ended up bargaining with the lady. Since this is Chinatown, it was expected. We haggled and throw in some buffs/deals. Then I walked away with two containers of each type of tea for 25% off ($33 each) and a free bag of Chrysanthemum.
